If you are 55 year of age or older, it isn’t too late to get a good rate on term life insurance.  In fact, with new life expectancy and mortality tables, rates have never been lower.

Also, if you are age 55 or over, you still may qualify for up to a 30 year level term policy!  I put together a list showing how affordable term life is if you are in good health and over 55.

Here are some examples of level term life insurance rates for those 55, 56,57,58,59 years old:

One of the best benefits from buying a 30 year policy is the protection from any health conditions that may arise in that 30 year period. Buying a 30 year term life policy can relieve some of your stress knowing that you are covered for 30 years.
